When I moved to Colorado, I was introduced to painting with acrylics through my sister. She would attend sip and paint activities with her friends and I would be so jealous. I finally started digging through her supplies mindless of how much waste I was doing at the time. I absolutely had no idea what I was doing. Every expert at something started as a beginner.

I started looking up tutorials online and came across Cinnamon Cooney Art Sherpa on YouTube. She is fun, whimsical, and breaks the tutorials down into steps. She covers how-to’s for beginners in all of her videos. From there I started learning from other artists I also found on YouTube including Ginger, Angela Anderson, and Joni Young. I encourage everyone to learn from all of the available resources online to develop any hobbies. You never know as they may one day become a form of income.

After my most recent tourist experience in New Orleans, Louisiana with my sister, I was inspired by the accumulation of so many artists found not only at Jackson Park but in museums located throughout the entire city. Art was EVERYWHERE! Witnessing how large of an influence various art forms have on the culture was breathtaking, Completely touched my heart. After an inspiring weekend and pep talks from the sister, I decided to come home and put some of my art pieces up for sale.

Here I am today, facing my fears and appealing to fans of paintings. To preview some pieces, come check out (Insert Link Here)
